Mambogem was founded in January 2007 by Jessalyn Zoe, a passionate latin contemporary fusion dancer from San Francisco, USA. Mambogem is the first performance team dedicated to performing and promoting the New York style Salsa "On 2" in Shanghai. Today the dance company teaches and performs variety of latin dance styles fused with Jazz, contemporary and Afro-Cuban.
Mambogem members are from all over the world with diverse backgrounds who love to dance and perform for the ultimate art of expression. Mambogem's 1st world performance was on October 28,2007 at the Japan World Salsa Congress in Tokyo. Subsequently, Mambogem has performed in 2008 and 2009 Beijing China salsa congress, 2009 Korea Salsa Congress, 2009 and 2010 Shanghai Salsa Carnival, 2011 1st China Salsa Festival in Guangzhou and numerous salsa festivals and events in Asia.

Mambogem Latin Fusion Dance Company will celebrate it's 5-Year anniversary on Friday March 30th, 2012 in Shanghai. Mambogem will debut 2 new dances choreographed by Jessalyn Zoe from Autumn 2011 Season. The dancers will also showcase some of the cool performances from other world tour salsa congresses.
